Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Project Manager to oversee capital programs and expansion projects within the Global Engineering, Maintenance, & Sustainability (GEMS) org. You will lead a team and coordinate resources across multiple vendors to hit timelines, budgets, and standardization goals.

The role requires up to 80% nationwide travel and the ability to work from a corporate office when not traveling. Relocation assistance may be provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years delivering process improvements using data and metrics.
• Advanced Excel skills with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP; SQL knowledge.
• Experience cross-functional with tech and non-tech teams.
• Construction or related field with budgets, scheduling, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Manage new and existing programs, delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations.
• Partner with program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, milestones, and drive delivery.
• Owns program communication, escalations, and blockers to accelerate progress.
• Influence design and development of strategic processes.
• Work with leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and govern execution of all program functions (technical, fiscal, administrative).
• Provide accountability with status reporting and issue escalation.
• Oversee overall project schedule to enable Go-Live milestones.
