Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the execution of successful new build infrastructure and expansion/retrofit projects in our Global Engineering, Maintenance, & Sustainability (GEMS) Organization. This role leads a team of support personnel to achieve timelines and budget goals while driving standardization across the network.

This position requires up to 80% nationwide travel and the ability to work from a corporate office when not traveling;

Responsibilities

• Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, and drive delivery.
• Owns program communication, clears blockers and escalates as needed for timely decisions.
• Influence design and development of strategic processes.
• Collaborate with managers and leaders to impact critical business initiatives.
• Develop and govern execution of business, technical, fiscal, and admin functions.
• Provide accountability with status updates and proactive issue escalation.
• Maintain the overall project schedule to meet milestones and Go-Live.
• Travel up to 80% nationwide; include air and driving to sites; valid driver’s license required.
