Job summary

Amazon Web Services seeks an Infrastructure Technical Program Manager to deploy and manage one of the world’s largest telecommunication networks. You’ll lead cross-functional teams across North and South America, coordinate with engineers, vendors, and management, and drive milestones through complex field deployments.

The role requires 3+ years in infrastructure management, fiber optics expertise, and strong program management skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure.
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.
• Experience in program management and leading large-scale projects.
• Understanding of optical transmission systems with 3+ years of deployment/turn-up.
• Deep knowledge of fiber transmissions and remediation of fiber defects.

Responsibilities

• Reports to deployment manager and provides regular updates to NASA and Global Senior management.
• Drive overall Network Infrastructure strategy for North and South America.
• Vendor management to deploy on time and track progress via KPIs.
• Develop a quality program to track defects and quantify vendor success.
• Troubleshoot longhaul fiber systems and remediate issues to activate links.
• Create standardized reporting for program deployment progress.
