Job summary

Runware is seeking a Head of Infrastructure Operations to own global, end-to-end infrastructure across sites in the US and Europe. You will lead a high-performance team handling servers, storage, networking, and automation, scaling from a handful of pods to a large fleet.

Expect hands-on leadership, incident response, and close collaboration with engineering and data center partners. You will set operating models, drive reliability, and ensure security/compliance for a growing, edge-focused AI

Qualifications

• 15+ years in infrastructure engineering and operations.
• Experience leading global infrastructure at scale with own hardware.
• Hands-on Linux expertise, kernel and driver troubleshooting.
• Proven track record in multi-site deployments and data centers.
• Strong automation, incident response, and on-call discipline.

Responsibilities

• Build and run global infrastructure operations across pod sites in the US and Europe.
• Own server, storage and network layers end-to-end; manage fleet provisioning and imaging.
• Define site go-live processes and automate deployments for scale.
• Set reliability targets, capacity planning, monitoring and incident reviews.
• Hire and lead a high-performance data center, systems and network team across time zones.
• Manage colocation, power, connectivity, hardware vendors, and budgets.
• Collaborate with hardware/platform teams; feed field learnings into next-gen servers and pods.
• Leverage AI to automate runbooks and tooling and drive operational efficiency.
• Own security/compliance for physical infrastructure, including data residency requirements.
