Job summary

OnRamp is hiring an infrastructure-focused engineer to own our AWS platform, deployment systems, and tooling. You’ll lead end-to-end design, security, and operations of production infrastructure and AI agent backends, with autonomy to shape the platform.

You’ll work with a small, high-ownership team in a Boston-centered, flexible environment that values shipping fast, reducing toil with AI, and delivering reliable, compliant services to enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS production infrastructure experience.
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code and modern deployment practices.
• Experience applying AI to automate infrastructure and operations.
• Security/compliance mindset or experience with SOC 2/HIPAA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own AWS infrastructure end to end: architecture, IaC, networking, cost, and scale.
• Build CI/CD and deployment pipelines for frequent releases.
• Apply AI to write and refactor infrastructure code and runbooks.
• Develop the AI infrastructure: agent execution environments and observability.
• Own observability, reliability, and incident response.
• Support security/compliance posture for SOC 2 and HIPAA upmarket.
• Drive automation to increase team velocity.
