Job summary

Runware, an AI inference platform, is seeking a Senior Network Architect to own the design, build, and operation of its data-center network fabric, backbone and edge, and cloud connectivity. You’ll lead architecture decisions, drive latency reductions, and expand a global, remote-first network footprint.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in network engineering and architecture.
• Design authority for large-scale production networks.
• Hands-on design, configuration, and troubleshooting of networks.
• Expertise in spine‑leaf Clos fabrics, EVPN/VXLAN, 400G/800G Ethernet, RoCEv2.
• Experience with multi-region interconnect, transit, peering, and DDoS mitigation.
• Public contributions or leadership in fast-paced startup environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the network architecture end to end and set long-term roadmap.
• Design and build the GPU cluster fabric and spine‑leaf topology.
• Manage backbone/edge, interconnects, and traffic steering for latency optimization.
• Connect cloud, bare metal, and partner capacity into one platform.
• Define network operations, telemetry, change management and on‑call practices.
• Lead capacity planning and procurement aligned with product growth.
• Automate network with code, AI tooling, and validation workflows.
• Lead through design authority and mentor engineers.
