Job summary

EY seeks a Global Information Security Strategist to shape and implement the firm’s long‑term security strategy. This senior role collaborates with global leaders to align security programs with business objectives, while integrating emerging technologies and risk management into a forward‑looking security posture.

The role requires executive‑level influence, strategic planning, and a track record of delivering security initiatives across a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in strategy development, organizational change, or business process improvement, with at least 10 years in Information Security/IT.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strategic leadership with cross‑functional initiative experience in a global org.
• Strong business acumen to translate security needs into business terms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; advanced English writing.
• Broad and deep knowledge of information security domains, including IAM and incident response.
• Proven track record delivering results in complex, matrixed environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive long‑term information security program strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to anticipate changes in services and client requirements.
• Build awareness and champion security strategy across the organization and drive adoption.
• Analyze operation effectiveness and optimize processes for agility and competitiveness.
• Monitor emerging security technologies and industry trends to adapt strategy.
• Identify strategic opportunities for innovation and develop business cases for investments.
• Partner with Information Security, Enterprise Technology, and Client Technology teams early in projects.
• Prepare high‑level analyses and roadmaps for executive leadership with data‑driven insights.
• Educate business units on strategic direction of the Information Security program.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external partners to inform security strategy.
