Job summary

EY is seeking a Global Information Security Strategist to shape and implement the firm’s long‑term information security strategy. This high‑level role partners with senior leaders to align security with business goals and enable secure innovation across EY’s global teams.

The role involves strategic planning, leadership, and collaboration with Enterprise Technology, Client Technology, and information security teams to stay ahead of threats and evolving needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Program Development: Define and drive the development of long‑term information security program strategies that support the firm’s business objectives.
• Business & Leadership Consulting: Collaborate with senior business and technology leaders to understand plans and recommend security strategies.
• Stakeholder Alignment & Adoption: Build awareness and champion the security strategy across the organization to drive adoption.
• Program Evaluation & Improvement: Analyze effectiveness and optimize processes for agility and impact.
• Research & Trend Analysis: Monitor emerging technologies and threats and adapt the security strategy accordingly.
• Innovation & Initiative Planning: Identify opportunities for pilot projects and new investments in security.
