Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Managing Director, Inflight Dining Operations to lead the global execution and operational performance of inflight dining across thousands of daily flights and hundreds of destinations. You will partner with Culinary Strategy, Airports, Inflight, Procurement, Finance, and other teams to ensure high-quality catering is delivered on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 10 years of progressive leadership experience.
• 5 years leading catering operations for a major airline or airline catering company.

Responsibilities

• Manage global catering operations to ensure high-quality products and timely delivery with internal and external partners.
• Oversee catering logistics to position equipment correctly for efficient operations.
• Lead large-scale initiatives with planning, financial analysis, communication, implementation and monitoring.
