Job summary

American Airlines is hiring for a Crew Manager, Inflight Performance to supervise and coordinate flight attendants’ performance within the Inflight Performance team of the Customer Experience-Flight (NFLT) group. You will lead performance conversations and document updates in APS, ensuring adherence to policy and conduct standards.

The role requires coaching, strong decision-making, and the ability to navigate complex policies while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to work shift work, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work on-site at assigned base/location.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day performance reports for an assigned group of flight attendants.
• Leads all performance conversations and updates/documents flight attendants’ record in the Attendance and Performance System (APS).
• Ensures flight attendants understand and comply with Inflight policies, procedures, and regulations
• Provides coaching and counseling to flight attendants to address performance concerns.
• Implements appropriate action for violations, up to and including dismissal.
• Supports Inflight initiatives related to flight attendant performance.
• Participates in task forces to problem solve and plan the future direction of the Performance team.
