Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Incident Response Coordination Specialist to join the Business Assurance Center (BAC) and manage security events across the globe. You will coordinate triage, draft formal incident reports, and drive communications with stakeholders in a fast-paced GSOC environment.

Candidates should bring experience in emergency management, strong writing and verbal skills, and the ability to analyze data for timely briefings.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience related to emergency management, GSOC operations, or other physical security roles.
• Experience managing physical security incidents and crises.
• Outstanding verbal communication skills in high-stress situations.
• Outstanding writing skills for incident reports and security alerts.
• Ability to collect and analyze data to brief stakeholders quickly.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage security incidents worldwide, working with response stakeholders and notifying partner teams.
• Coordinate with internal team members to ensure effective triage and escalation of incidents.
• Draft written products and emergency communications with high accuracy and detail.
• Navigate technical resources to retrieve information and create reports for crisis management.
• Participate in drills and tabletop exercises, recommending improvements to BAC practices.
