Amazon Corporate Security is seeking an Incident Response Specialist to manage security incidents worldwide within the Business Assurance Center. You will coordinate response, draft communications, and ensure accurate reporting while supporting 24/7 GSOC operations.

The role emphasizes quick data collection, stakeholder briefings, and drills participation, with a focus on continuous improvement and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in emergency management, GSOC operations, or physical security in a high-volume, high-intensity environment.
• Experience managing physical security incidents and crises.
• Outstanding verbal communication skills in high-stress situations; able to remain calm and professional.
• Excellent writing skills for incident reports, messaging, and security alerts.
• Ability to collect and analyze data quickly to brief stakeholders on time-sensitive security issues.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage security incidents worldwide, coordinating with response stakeholders and notifying key partner teams.
• Coordinate triage and escalation of security incidents with internal teams.
• Draft incident reports and emergency communications with high accuracy and detail.
• Navigate technical resources to retrieve information and create reports for incident and crisis management.
• Participate in drills and table-top exercises, recommending improvements to BAC practices.
