OKX is seeking a Legal Counsel, Litigation & Legal Process in New York or SF Bay Area to support the global litigation and legal process teams. The role handles subpoenas, court orders, and government requests, coordinating across jurisdictions and with external counsel.

You will develop templates, respond to high-volume matters, and work with Compliance and Risk to manage disclosures and privacy risks in a fast-paced, regulated industry.

Formación

• JD and admission in good standing in at least one US state.
• Candidate may be based in New York or the San Francisco Bay Area
• Minimum 4 years of litigation experience at a leading law firm, financial institution, fintech or government agency.
• Working knowledge of federal and state civil procedure, including subpoena and motion practice.
• Sound judgment and the ability to manage a high volume of time-sensitive matters.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment across global time zones.
• Enthusiasm about building an in-house career in a fast-growing, regulated industry.

Responsabilidades

• Review and respond to subpoenas, Section 1782 applications, garnishments, and court orders served on OKX.
• Negotiate scope with issuing parties and interface with opposing counsel; move to quash when appropriate; manage productions through closure.
• Coordinate with OKX’s international legal process team and global litigation team on cross-border orders.
• Respond to US law enforcement and government process requests, including grand jury subpoenas and asset freeze requests.
• Assess and respond to litigation demands and threatened claims, escalating as needed.
• Assist with matters progressing from legal process into litigation with senior team members and external counsel.
• Work with Compliance, Risk, Operations and data teams to advise on disclosure and privacy risk.
• Develop templates, playbooks and standard responses; embed AI to drive efficiency.
