Job summary

Okx in New York is seeking a seasoned attorney to join the Global Litigation, Regulatory Enforcement and Investigations team. You will review subpoenas, court orders, and government requests while coordinating with international colleagues to resolve matters efficiently.

The role requires a JD and active bar admission in the US, 4+ years of litigation experience, and strong written and oral communication skills to support compliance, risk, and data teams across the business.

Qualifications

• JD and active bar admission in at least one US state.
• Experience handling subpoenas, court orders, and civil procedure.
• Ability to coordinate with global teams and manage time-sensitive matters.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review subpoenas, 1782 applications, garnishments, and court orders including TROs and receivership orders.
• Negotiate scope with issuing parties; interface with opposing counsel and manage productions to closure.
• Coordinate with international process and litigation teams across jurisdictions.
• Respond to US law enforcement and government requests escalated by the legal response ops team.
• Assess and respond to litigation demands; escalate and assist with matters progressing to litigation.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Operations and data teams on disclosures and privacy risk.
• Develop templates, playbooks, and standard responses; embed AI to drive efficiency.
