Job summary

Phillip Jeffries Ltd seeks an Imports Agent to support the day‑to‑day execution of international shipments, import documentation, freight administration, and supply chain operations at our New Jersey headquarters. The role is hybrid, onsite three days a week, partnering with freight providers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders.

You will manage shipment tracking, document control, and freight data entry while ensuring audit-ready records and timely resolution of issues.

Qualifications

• Must have up to 2 years in international logistics, import ops, inbound supply chain, or related field.
• Exposure to manufacturing environment preferred; familiarity with customs brokerage or trade compliance is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Analytics, Engineering, or related STEM discipline.

Responsibilities

• Track shipments and update tracking systems with accurate milestones and dates.
• Review import documents against checklists and file in ERP/tracking systems.
• Assist with freight cost recording and supplier coordination; escalate issues to management as needed.
