Job summary

Priority Worldwide is seeking an Import Operations Agent to join our growing team. Located in Hanover, MD or Los Angeles, CA, you will process import shipments and manage end-to-end customs entries while coordinating with overseas partners to ensure on-time, compliant deliveries.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with digital systems and email-based workflows.
• Ability to learn new tools and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process import shipments and customs entries accurately.
• Handle international shipments from start to finish (A–Z).
• Coordinate with overseas partners and clients for on-time deliveries.
• Maintain daily communication and updates for internal teams and customers.
• Support compliance with Customs, Bonded Warehouse, and CTPAT requirements.
• Prepare quotes, manage documentation, and maintain vendor relationships.
• Manage high volumes of emails and phone calls with professionalism.
• Deliver strong customer service and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Ensure accurate shipment documentation and timely updates.
• Monitor shipments and proactively resolve transit issues.
