Priority Worldwide is hiring an Import Operations Agent in Hanover, MD or Los Angeles, CA to manage shipments from start to finish with a focus on accuracy and timely deliveries.

You will coordinate with overseas partners, ensure compliance with customs and CTPAT, and maintain clear updates for customers while handling high email and call volumes. A strong customer-service mindset and collaboration are essential.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding imports.
• Strong understanding of customs regulations, tariffs, and classifications.
• Proficiency in CargoWise, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Process import shipments and customs entries accurately and efficiently.
• Handle international shipments from start to finish (A–Z).
• Coordinate with overseas partners and clients to ensure on-time, compliant deliveries.
• Maintain daily communication and updates for internal teams and customers.
• Support compliance efforts with Customs, Bonded Warehouse, and CTPAT requirements.
• Prepare quotes, manage documentation, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Manage high volumes of emails and phone calls with professionalism and urgency.
• Deliver strong customer service and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Ensure accurate and timely shipment documentation and updates.
• Monitor shipments and proactively resolve transit issues.
