Priority Worldwide is seeking an Import Operations Agent to join our team in Hanover, MD or Los Angeles, CA. You will process import shipments and manage international shipments from A to Z, coordinating with overseas partners and clients to ensure on-time, compliant deliveries.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in freight forwarding imports, strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and classifications, and proficiency in CargoWise, Microsoft Office, and Teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding imports.
• Strong understanding of customs regulations, tariffs, and classifications.
• Proficiency in CargoWise, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
• Comfort with digital systems, email workflows, and AI-assisted tools.
• Ability to manage high-volume communication with professionalism and urgency.
• Strong customer service and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• On-site work in Hanover, MD or Los Angeles, CA; US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Process import shipments and customs entries accurately.
• Handle international shipments from start to finish (A-Z).
• Coordinate with overseas partners and clients for on-time deliveries.
• Maintain daily communication and updates for internal teams and customers.
• Support compliance with Customs, Bonded Warehouse, and CTPAT.
• Prepare quotes, manage documentation, and maintain vendor relationships.
• Manage high volumes of emails and phone calls with professionalism.
• Deliver strong customer service and contribute to a positive team culture.
