Job summary

System One Holdings, LLC is hiring an Import/Export Shipping Coordinator to support a Bethlehem, PA client. The role coordinates international shipments, ensures trade compliance, and partners with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to keep product moving on time and in compliance.

The candidate will manage documentation, support LC export requirements, and work with multiple stakeholders to maintain OTIF performance. Strong DG shipping knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of import/export compliance experience
• Experience with international shipping, freight forwarding, or related logistics
• Working knowledge of international trade laws, export regulations, documentation/labeling, and sanctions screening
• Experience with dangerous goods shipping and document retention (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import/export shipments with freight forwarders and import clearing houses
• Ensure compliance with U.S. and international trade regulations and company policies
• Prepare and manage shipping documents (bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, customs docs) and maintain records
• Coordinate trucking pickups from Bethlehem warehouse to ports/airports and support labeling and inspection
• Track and trace shipments daily; communicate delays/risks to stakeholders
• Audit import entry filings, resolve discrepancies, request corrections, and support reconciliations
• Support export requirements including letters of credit and country-specific documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support OTIF performance
