Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of warehouse or shipping and receiving experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proven mathematical skills to handle basic arithmetic.
• Proven knowledge and proficiency in reporting tools such as Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import/export customs and shipping activities with documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Track containers in the port system and manage vessel delays and per diem.
• Coordinate fumigation and inspections with government agencies; provide required documentation.
• Track cold treatments, investigate variances, and report or resolve issues.
• Liaise with customs brokers to arrange deliveries and pickups; coordinate schedules and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare import-export documentation for government agencies and maintain detailed logs.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and maintain accurate records.
• Travel by automobile or airplane for business purposes as required.
