Falcon Maritime and Aviation Inc. in Jamaica, NY seeks a detail-oriented FMS / Import-Export Specialist to join our team. You will manage and coordinate import/export operations and review shipping documentation, invoices, and customs paperwork.

Coordinate with freight forwarders and internal departments to track shipments, maintain records, and resolve logistics issues. Ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR and DOT/IATA/IMDG regulations, including hazardous materials handling.

Formación

• Experience in import/export, freight forwarding, or logistics.
• Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and export compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of DOT, IATA, and IMDG hazardous materials regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and coordinate import and export operations.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation, invoices, and customs paperwork.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, vendors, and internal departments.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate import/export records and documentation.
• Resolve shipping, customs, and logistics-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR, and applicable export control regulations.
• Manage export documentation, licenses, and compliance records.
• Coordinate hazardous materials (HAZMAT) shipments in accordance with DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations.
