Compass Forwarding Co., Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented FMS/Import-Export Specialist to join our Import Department in New York.

You will manage import/export operations, prepare shipping documentation, and coordinate with freight forwarders, brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates have experience with ITAR/EAR, hazardous materials regulations, and proficiency in CargoWise and Microsoft Office.

Formación

• Experience in import/export, freight forwarding, or logistics.
• Experience with ITAR, EAR, and export compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of DOT, IATA, and IMDG hazardous materials regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with Dangerous Goods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CargoWise import/export management systems.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure proper classification, packaging, labeling, and marking of hazardous materials.

The Opportunity
