Job summary

Worldpay in the United States is seeking an Implementation & Onboarding Director to lead strategy, execution and scaling of our onboarding and technical consulting functions for global partnerships.

You will build scalable operating models, manage cross-functional teams, and own KPIs for activation and deployment success, while collaborating with Sales, Product, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance to ensure a seamless partner experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in payments, fintech, SaaS or related tech.
• 5+ years leading managers and large-scale delivery, implementation, or consulting.
• Proven success building onboarding, implementation, activation, or customer delivery functions.
• Extensive knowledge of embedded payments, PayFac operations, and merchant onboarding.
• Strong understanding of APIs, payment integrations, and activation management.
• Expert program and project management, governance, and risk mitigation.
• Executive communication and stakeholder management at technical and non-technical levels.
• Bachelor's degree in business, CS, IS, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop implementations and technical consulting organizations, establishing team structures and performance standards.
• Own end-to-end implementation lifecycle from onboarding through activation and milestones.
• Oversee governance, portfolio health, risk, issues, and escalations across partner implementations.
• Lead Technical Consulting for integration guidance, architecture reviews, and launch prep.
• Drive partner activation with scalable frameworks for technical, operational, and GTM readiness.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Enablement teams.
• Lead transformation initiatives in workflow automation and tooling enhancements.
• Report on KPIs including cycle time, activation velocity, and customer satisfaction.
