Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Immigration Program Manager to lead regional immigration strategy, policy, and compliance for US and international assignments. You will coordinate with Talent Acquisition, HR, Legal, Tax, and external providers to ensure compliant mobility across the region.

The role emphasizes managing escalations, process improvements, training delivery, and work-authorization pathways. This remote role requires travel within the assigned region and beyond as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in immigration and work authorization compliance across local hires, assignments, relocations, business travel, and multi-jurisdictional pathways, with experience leading global/regional compliance programs and complex case strategy.
• Experience in interpreting regulatory requirements and translating them into operational guidance, while partnering effectively with external counsel and immigration service providers.
• Experience solving problems by identifying root causes, designing solutions and executing outcomes.
• Experience with project management skillsets to deliver complex projects in fast-paced environments and proactively resolving emerging challenges.

Responsibilities

• Oversee immigration strategy, processes, and policies to ensure compliance for business travelers, assignments, and local hires in the region.
• Manage and resolve complex immigration escalations.
• Drive continuous process improvement with immigration providers to streamline service delivery in region.
• Provide project-based immigration support to business stakeholders for transparency and efficiency.
• Develop and deliver training to employees, managers, HR, and stakeholders on immigration requirements.
• Oversee guidance for regional work authorization pathways and sponsorship eligibility.
• Maintain detailed regional guidelines for work authorization and processing timelines.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Operations, Payroll, Tax, Global Security, Legal, and local HR to refine immigration deployment pathways.
• Support global expansion with readiness plans for new offices and entries.
• Develop immigration process flows and compliance for international talent across new entities.
• Support regional immigration crisis preparedness and coordinate with stakeholders to mitigate disruption.
• Contribute to future-state operating models, workflows, and cross-functional intake processes.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update processes for ongoing regional compliance.
• Lead regional immigration components of program transitions, redesigns, and system enhancements.
• Quarterly travel to Connecticut and periodic international travel within the region.
