Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) in the United States is seeking an experienced immigration leader to shape and oversee regional strategy, compliance, and partner engagements. You will manage complex cases, drive process improvements, and deliver training on work authorization requirements for stakeholders across HR, Payroll, and Legal.

The role requires global mobility experience, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to navigate multi-jurisdictional pathways while supporting expansion into new offices

Qualifications

• University degree with 8+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years; without a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in immigration and work authorization compliance across local hires, assignments, relocations, and multi-jurisdictional pathways.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements into operational guidance while coordinating with external counsel and immigration service providers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee immigration strategy, processes, and policies for a specific region.
• Manage and resolve complex immigration escalations.
• Drive process improvements with the immigration provider to streamline service delivery.
• Provide project-based immigration support to business stakeholders for transparency and efficiency.
• Develop and deliver training on immigration requirements and expectations for employees and managers.
• Oversee regional work authorization guidance, sponsorship pathways, and compliance standards.
• Maintain regional guidelines for work authorization, sponsorship eligibility, and timelines.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Operations, Payroll, Tax, Global Security, Legal, and HR to establish compliant pathways.
• Support global expansion with readiness plans for new offices and countries.
• Develop immigration process flows and compliance requirements for international talent.
• Coordinate crisis preparedness and contingency planning for regional immigration disruptions.
• Contribute to future-state operating models and cross-functional processes.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update processes to maintain regional compliance.
• Lead regional immigration components of program transitions and system enhancements.
• Travel quarterly to Connecticut and occasionally internationally.
