Job summary

Fragomen in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Business Immigration Associate to join a dynamic, exclusive immigration practice. You will work with a diverse team on complex cases, developing strategies, researching and drafting petitions, and advising clients.

You will communicate with clients and foreign nationals, supervise junior staff, and help drive process improvements while upholding professional standards. A US JD/LLM and bar admission are required, with 2–3 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• US JD or LLM required and active bar admission in a US state.
• 2–3 years of experience at an associate level in immigration law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and client-service focus.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop case strategies, research and draft filings, counsel clients.
• Communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding processes.
• Prepare petitions and applications for non-immigrant/immigrant visas.
• Mentor junior associates and staff; share immigration knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with firm standards and client SLAs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and quality.
