Job summary

Northern Trust in Tempe, AZ seeks a Senior Lead, IAM Platform Operations to own and advance global IAM platforms. You will drive reliability, governance, and automation across identity, privileged access, authentication, and authorization while partnering with Product, Risk, and Engineering teams.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in IAM/cybersecurity, 5+ years leading enterprise platforms, and a track record of improving service maturity in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IAM, cyber security or tech operations.
• 5+ years leading enterprise platforms or operations teams.
• Expertise in Identity Governance, PAM, Authentication, Authorization and lifecycle management.
• Experience in regulated financial services environments.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ITIL or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead global IAM platform operations, support teams, and service management functions.
• Own operational performance, availability, resiliency, capacity planning, upgrades, and lifecycle management for IAM platforms.
• Establish and maintain SLAs, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Drive automation and self-service capabilities to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management with executive communications and root-cause remediation.
• Ensure readiness for audits, regulatory exams and control assessments.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Governance and Risk to deliver secure, scalable IAM services.
• Manage vendor relationships, budgets, contracts and service performance.
• Build and develop a high-performing global operations organization focused on accountability.
