Job summary

The Northern Trust Company seeks a Senior Lead, IAM Platform Operations to oversee global IAM platform operations, ensuring reliability, security, and regulatory compliance. You will partner with Product Management, Engineering, Risk, and Technology Operations to drive improvements and operational excellence.

You will lead incident management, automation initiatives, and audits readiness while guiding a high-performing team across geographies. Tempe office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IAM, Cyber Security, or Technology Operations.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing enterprise platforms or operational teams.
• Strong understanding of ITIL, service management, operational resilience, and risk management practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead global IAM platform operations, support teams, and service management functions.
• Own operational performance, availability, resiliency, capacity planning, upgrades, and lifecycle management for IAM platforms.
• Establish and maintain service-level objectives, operational metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Drive automation, self-service capabilities, and continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management activities, including executive communications and root-cause remediation.
• Ensure operational readiness for audits, regulatory examinations, and control assessments.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Governance, and Risk teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant IAM services.
• Manage vendor relationships, operational budgets, support contracts, and service performance.
• Build and develop a high-performing global operations organization focused on accountability, service excellence, and operational discipline.
