Job summary

Maximus is seeking a senior Change Management leader to translate strategy into workforce behavior and capability, driving large-scale transformation across the US and India. You will shape adoption, enable AI-driven change, and partner with executives to align initiatives with measurable business outcomes.

The role requires 10+ years of experience in multi-country transformations, a strong OD/HR background, and a proven ability to lead distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (OD, HR, Communications, Business, I/O Psychology, or related).
• 10 years of progressive change management experience leading large, multi-country transformations.
• Leadership of globally distributed teams (U.S. and India preferred).
• Hands-on experience implementing AI-enabled solutions and using AI tools to accelerate change work.
• Learning & Organizational Development practitioner—designing learning journeys, capability models, or leadership development programs.
• Change management certification (Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent).
• Executive communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills.
• US-based with experience supporting distributed teams.
• Master’s degree in OD, I/O Psychology, HR, or MBA.
• Experience in government services, regulated industries, or large-scale HR transformations.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and human-centered design.

Responsibilities

• Shape how the organization evolves—translating strategy into workforce behavior, capability, and mindset shifts that enable transformation at scale.
• Connect change efforts across initiatives—ensuring employees experience one cohesive, aligned transformation rather than competing priorities.
• Lead a globally distributed team across the U.S. and India, building a culture of ownership, creativity, and continuous improvement.
• Lead the human side of AI adoption—ensuring employees build trust, capability, and confidence in new technologies and ways of working.
• Integrate AI into the practice of change management itself—using AI to enhance insights, accelerate content creation, and personalize the change experience.
• Use data and insights to continuously refine strategies—focusing on adoption, proficiency, and sustained behavior change, not just launch success.
• Act as a "translator" between strategy and execution—turning high-level vision into clear, actionable pathways for leaders and teams.
• Build and activate leader-led change—equipping executives and managers to actively sponsor, role model, and reinforce change.
