Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Director - HR Transformation, Change & Adoption to lead enterprise-wide efforts in workforce transformation and AI-enabled ways of working. You will partner with senior executives to translate strategy into practical actions that drive adoption, capability building, and measurable business impact.

You will oversee a globally distributed team across the U.S. and India, shape future of work, and ensure alignment across initiatives while embedding human-centered transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OD, HR, Communications, Business, I/O Psychology, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive change management experience, including leading large, complex, multi-country transformations.
• Demonstrated people-leadership experience with globally distributed teams (U.S. and India preferred).
• Hands-on experience implementing AI-enabled solutions and using AI tools to accelerate change work.
• Background as Learning & Organizational Development practitioner — designing learning journeys, capability models, or leadership development programs.
• Recognized change management certification (Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent).
• Outstanding executive communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills.
• Master's degree in OD, I/O Psychology, HR, or MBA.
• Experience in government services, regulated industries, or large-scale HR transformations (e.g., centralization, vendor transitions, AI/automation rollouts).
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and human-centered design.
• United States based with experience supporting distributed teams.
