Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Compliance & Audit Manager for its Global HR Systems team. The role oversees compliance programs, audit planning, testing, and remediation to protect employee data and ensure regulatory adherence across HR platforms such as Workday and UKG.

You will collaborate with Cybersecurity, Legal, Data Privacy, Payroll, and Information Security to safeguard information and drive continuous control improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or 6 years of equivalent work experience in lieu.
• 8+ years of professional work experience in compliance, audit, risk management, internal controls, governance, or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience with audit methodologies, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience supporting internal and external audits, including testing, evidence collection, remediation, and audit reporting.
• 3+ years of strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with ability to assess control effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer HR Systems compliance, audit, and governance programs.
• Document, map, and assess internal controls and business processes to support audit readiness and control evaluations.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate compliance, operational, and process risks; provide guidance to leadership.
• Partner with Legal, HR, Information Security, Data Privacy, and Cybersecurity teams to support audit planning and data protection activities.
• Manage audit execution, including testing, findings remediation, CAPA investigations, and remediation tracking.
• Drive adoption and improvements of the Kainos SmartAudit platform and related audit automation initiatives.
• Lead HR Systems support for internal and external audits (ISO, SOC 1, and divisional audits).
• Produce and maintain compliance reporting, audit metrics, and evidence of controls effectiveness.
