Job summary

IFF is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner to partner with site leaders in Wilmington, Delaware on talent strategy, workforce planning, and employee relations in a global, hybrid environment.

You will guide recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent development, and policy implementation across manufacturing and corporate functions, ensuring compliance and business alignment while fostering an inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10 years of professional experience, including at least 7 years in HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or HR Management roles.
• Experience supporting employee populations of approximately 200-700 employees in manufacturing, operations, corporate, or similarly complex environments.
• Demonstrated experience across multiple HR disciplines, including employee relations, talent management, compensation, benefits, and organizational development.
• Experience supporting leaders within complex, global organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and ability to align people strategies with business objectives.
• Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data, identifying trends, and making strategic recommendations.
• Outstanding communication, relationship-building, coaching, and consulting skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies aligned with organizational priorities and long-term growth objectives.
• Build trusted relationships with leaders, providing strategic guidance on talent, organization effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee relations.
• Lead and support the recruitment, selection, onboarding, development, and retention of employees across the site.
• Provide HR expertise across multiple functional areas, including talent management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational development.
• Ensure effective implementation and adaptation of company policies, programs, and processes while maintaining compliance with local regulations and business requirements.
• Counsel and coach managers on employee relations matters, performance management, talent development, and organizational challenges.
• Partner with Centers of Expertise to deliver aligned and impactful people solutions that support business objectives.
• Support local administration of hiring, compensation, benefits, training, health, safety, and security programs.
• Participate in labor relations activities, support negotiations as needed, and assist in the administration of collective bargaining agreements where applicable.
