Job summary

International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) in Memphis, TN, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to partner with site leaders in shaping workforce and labor relations strategies. This hybrid role focuses on aligning organizational objectives with talent management and labor relations initiatives.

You will lead negotiations, guide employee relations investigations, and help drive workforce planning and organizational effectiveness across a multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of seven years HRBP, HR Generalist, Labor Relations Manager, or related experience.
• Experience supporting unionized manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading employee relations investigations and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of labor relations practices and collective bargaining agreements.
• Proficiency with labor laws and regulations such as NLRA.
• Experience partnering with leaders on workforce planning and talent development.
• Ability to analyze workforce data and translate into actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site, functional, and regional leaders to translate business objectives into workforce, organizational, leadership, and talent strategies.
• Develop and execute labor relations strategies to support goals, stability, engagement, and results.
• Lead collective bargaining negotiations, grievance administration, contract interpretation, and arbitration prep.
• Provide guidance on employee and labor relations, including investigations and terminations.
• Build productive relationships with union representatives to foster partnerships.
• Lead organizational effectiveness, change management, design, and workforce planning.
• Facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, retention and development planning.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategies and internal mobility.
• Leverage workforce analytics to support data-driven decisions while ensuring HR data integrity.
