Job summary

International Justice Mission (IJM) invites applications for the Spring 2027 Human Resources Intern class. The role supports Global People Support and HR Operations, with 30–40 hours weekly, in-person, hybrid, or remote for non-local candidates.

Salary is a volunteer stipend, not an hourly wage, with dates January 11–April 9, 2027. The intern will engage in HR research, project management, and general administrative support, reporting to the Global Director, HR Operations.

Qualifications

• Completed at least two years of undergraduate study.
• At least one prior professional internship experience or significant leadership experience in extracurricular, campus, volunteer, or community-based organizations.
• Ability to commit to a schedule of 20–40 hours per week during standard business hours.
• Basic knowledge of HR operations and principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project and/or process management and enhancement preferred.

Responsibilities

• HR research conducted to support programs and policies.
• Assist in project management tasks for HR initiatives.
• Provide process support and workflow improvements for HR operations.
• Participate in departmental and general IJM administrative support.
