Job summary

International Justice Mission (IJM) invites applications for a Spring 2027 Business Operations Intern. The role supports project/portfolio management, change management, and business process improvement within IJM's Global Operations Team.

The program offers a 30-40 hour weekly schedule, a monthly stipend, and the option of in-person (Washington, DC area) or remote work for non-local candidates. The intern reports to the Global Director, Business Operations and will engage with Finance, HR,

Qualifications

• Completed at least two years of undergraduate study by the start of the internship.
• At least one prior professional internship experience or significant leadership experience in campus, volunteer, or community-based organizations.
• Ability to commit to a schedule consistent with the required time commitment listed above (20, 30, or 40 hours per week during standard business hours).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in project management or process implementation.
• Experience with change management and training facilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project and portfolio management, change management, and business process improvement.
• Assist with preparation and completion of deliverables, scheduling, and research on industry best practices.
• Design and edit communication materials and support cross-functional collaboration.
