Job summary

International Justice Mission (IJM) invites applications for an Events Intern for the 2027 Spring Internship class in the Washington, DC area or remote for non-local candidates. The role supports the Employee Experience and Events team in executing a major supporter event in May 2027 and involves coordinating travel, office operations, and vendor research.

The position is 40 hours per week and can be in-person or hybrid (onsite Tue and Thu).

Qualifications

• Two years of undergraduate study completed by start date.
• At least one prior internship or strong leadership in clubs/volunteer orgs.
• Ability to commit to 20, 30, or 40 hours per week during standard business hours.
• Event management experience is required; design experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Employee Experience and Events team on a major supporter event in Washington, DC (May 2027).
• Assist with travel best practices for IJM staff and administrative coordination of Arlington Office Ops.
• Conduct vendor research and assist on other assigned projects.
