Job summary

Goldman Sachs Group is seeking an HR Operations Associate to support global employee lifecycle processes, maintain data integrity in HRIS platforms, and assist in mobility transactions across HR systems.

You will partner with global HCM teams, HRBPs, and vendors to resolve issues, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years of related experience, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in HR operations or related roles.
• Experience resolving non-routine HR data issues and administrative workflows.
• Experience with onboarding, job changes, and terminations, and reorganizations.
• Ability to produce headcount and attrition reports from HRIS data.
• Familiarity with risk/control frameworks and internal audits.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Support global employee lifecycle operations across HR systems.
• Maintain and audit employee data in HRIS (Oracle Cloud).
• Provide operational support for global talent management processes.
• Perform recurring HR data reporting and analytics on headcount, hiring, compensation, attrition.
• Partner with global HCM teams, HRBPs, technology partners, Firm-wide Compensation, Employee Relations and vendors to resolve HR issues.
• Coordinate involuntary termination processes in partnership with Employee Relations.
• Develop and update SOPs, process docs, and training materials.
• Collaborate with Business, Engineering, and global stakeholders on reorganizations after acquisitions or JV.
