Job summary

7Seventy is seeking an HR Associate to manage day-to-day people operations across a distributed workforce, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll inputs, benefits administration, HR records, and compliance.

You will work with HRIS platforms such as Humaans, Gusto, Deel, Expensify, Asana, and Notion, reporting to the HR Manager and partnering with Finance and Legal. Expect responsibility growth in payroll and operational processes as onboarding progresses.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in operations, HR operations, people operations, or a closely related role.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, or comparable HR systems.
• Willingness to develop AI-assisted workflows and automation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate US state and city tax registrations, filings, and annual benefits reporting with Gusto.
• Process employee expense reimbursements through Expensify for US/UK staff and route approvals.
• Prepare and administer employment agreements using templates and DocuSign.
• Manage contractor onboarding with UK right-to-work checks and invoicing instructions.
• Lead onboarding activities with managers and maintain onboarding checklists in Asana/Humaans.
