Job summary

Becker Pumps is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to partner across our multi-site organization (US, Canada, Mexico) and own day-to-day HR operations, payroll collaboration, and compliance.

Reporting to the HR Director, you will lead talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and training initiatives while ensuring a consistent, compliant employee experience across locations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR Generalist or HRBP experience across core HR functions.
• Willingness to travel 15–20% domestically and internationally (Canada, Mexico).
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws; Canada/Mexico experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data in Paylocity.
• Administer HR policies and support compliance with U.S. and Canadian requirements.
• Support safety documentation, incident tracking, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare HR reports and metrics for leadership.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, offers, and third-party recruiter coordination.
• Partner with managers on role requirements and interview processes.
• Own onboarding from offer to 90 days and coordinate 30/60/90-day expectations.
• Ensure a consistent, compliant candidate/new hire experience across locations.
• Administer benefits, enrollment changes, terminations, and leave coordination.
• Provide HR data and support to Finance for semi-monthly payroll.
• Support open enrollment and employee communications.
• Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions and workplace concerns.
• Support disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and documentation.
• Coordinate training, vendors, scheduling, and completion tracking.
• Support workforce planning, compensation, culture, and policy development.
• Partner with HR Director on special projects and evolving priorities.
