Job summary

Acadian Asset Management LLC, a global, data-driven investment manager, is seeking an HR Assistant in Boston to support HR programs and enhance the employee experience. The role offers exposure to day-to-day global HR operations and opportunities to grow in HR disciplines.

You will collaborate with employees and managers, assist with recruiting, onboarding, performance processes, and HR data reporting, while upholding confidentiality in a hybrid Boston-based environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant professional HR experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support recruiting and hiring activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communications, job postings, offer letter preparation, background screening, and maintaining candidate information in the applicant tracking system.
• Support new hire onboarding and help deliver a positive first-day experience, including coordinating New Employee Orientation across new hires, managers, HR, and other internal teams; conducting the HR portion of orientation; processing required documentation; and creating accurate electronic employee records.
• Help execute key HR programs and processes, including performance management, by coordinating activities and timelines, providing system and process support, assisting with process communications, and ensuring processes run smoothly and accurately.
• Maintain and update HR resources and content on the company intranet, helping ensure employees and managers globally have access to accurate, current, and well‑organized information across HR programs and processes.
• Support HR systems, data, and reporting, including processing employee transactions, maintaining and validating data, preparing recurring and ad hoc reports, and assisting with system administration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Look for opportunities to improve HR processes and ways of working, including exploring how technology and emerging AI capabilities can be used to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the employee experience.
• Cross‑train in other areas of HR and contribute to programs, projects, and priorities based on business needs.
