Job summary

Nakupuna Companies seeks a Program Analyst to support U.S. Department of State health policy and foreign affairs objectives from Washington, DC. The role engages embassy health teams to implement the America First Global Health Strategy and ensure alignment with U.S. policy objectives.

Primary duties include coordinating with the GHSD Bureau, drafting policy analyses, and advising senior officials on programmatic recommendations across Africa sub-Saharan countries. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Health or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in international health or development.
• Experience with Africa region preferred.
• Ability to operate in sensitive foreign policy environments.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate health implementation plans with embassy staff.
• Coordinate MOUs, track progress, ensure terms are met.
• Prepare reports and briefing materials for senior leadership.
• Represent U.S. positions in bilateral engagements.
• Advise on policy and programmatic recommendations.
