Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Public Health, Public Policy, Public Administration, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in health workforce planning, international development, and/or global health.
• HRH technical expertise in health workforce planning and management.
• Knowledge of capacity building and training for health professionals.
• Strong understanding of workforce distribution and retention strategies.
• Familiarity with international health systems and HR policies.
• Data analysis and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent written and oral communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Align bilateral health MOUs with national health and HRH strategies.
• Advise on design, prioritization, and implementation of approaches to integrate USG-supported health workers into national systems.
• Support the integration, quality, and use of USG-supported health workforce data within national HR information systems (HRIS).
• Design and implement frameworks, indicators, and tools to monitor and document HRH integration and performance.
• Serve as technical lead for the HRH inventory reporting process using data analytics.
• Coordinate with ministries and donors to align health workforce investments with national priorities.
• Facilitate multi-sectoral coordination mechanisms and harmonize donor-funded HRH activities.
• Contribute to policy guidance and dissemination of HRH-related best practices.
