Job summary

Nakupuna Solutions seeks an HIV Program Manager to support U.S. Department of State global health priorities and foreign assistance programs under the America First Global Health Strategy.

You will manage awards, coordinate programs, and produce reports for lifesaving HIV prevention, care, and treatment initiatives. The role involves collaboration with GHSD staff, embassies, partner governments, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative and organizational skills across multiple tasks and documents.
• Foundational knowledge of public health and HIV programming.
• Ability to learn new subject matter quickly and apply independently.
• Strong written communication for drafting and editing professional documents.
• Comfort working with data, such as collecting, organizing, and summarizing information in Excel or similar tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
• Familiarity with PEPFAR, U.S. Government foreign assistance, or award management is desired
• Flexibility and a positive attitude in a complex, changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support senior technical staff in HIV prevention, care, and treatment, including organizing meetings and tracking follow-ups.
• Support Grants Officer Representatives on HIV and health-related awards, tracking deliverables and budgets.
• Maintain organized program files, trackers, and databases for easy access.
• Collect, organize, and summarize program performance data against metrics and milestones.
• Help draft, edit, and format technical guidance, tools, training materials for HIV programs.
• Coordinate logistics and communications with U.S. Embassies, Ministries of Health, partners, and stakeholders.
• Help prepare Congressional reports, leadership briefings, and related materials on schedule.
• Research and summarize relevant literature and program documents to inform decisions.
• Document and share lessons learned and effective practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
