Qualifications

• Experience managing USG Global Health Security programs focused on infectious disease surveillance.
• Advising multisectoral (human and animal) global health surveillance initiatives.
• Knowledge of infectious disease surveillance with a multisectoral lens.
• Engagement with foreign governments and partners in low-resource settings.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and partners on GHS programs.
• Familiarity with data systems used to monitor outbreak threats.

Responsibilities

• Lead programmatic work on human and zoonotic surveillance and advise on best practices.
• Support implementation of surveillance systems and diagnostics aligned with USG priorities.
• Design and manage programs advancing multisectoral surveillance and One Health aims.
• Collaborate with governments and partners to implement GHS programs in low-resource settings.
• Develop metrics and training materials to support surveillance activities.
• Prepare reports and briefings for leadership and stakeholders.
