Job summary

TD Securities Inc. is seeking a senior Governance and Controls leader to establish and execute risk and control strategy across Transaction Banking.

You will oversee design, effectiveness, and challenge of the control environment, affecting investments, remediation, and go-live decisions in a complex, global setting. You will lead a global Business Controls team, work with senior executives and risk partners, and shape the controls program to support transformation and regulatory readiness

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive leadership experience in financial services
Deep knowledge of Transaction Banking including payments and settlement
Advanced understanding of the Three Lines of Defense model and risk governance
Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation in a regulated environment
Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

Lead and govern risk and control strategy across Transaction Banking
Provide executive challenge and recommendations on investments, risk, and go-live decisions
Oversee governance, risk assessment, control design and remediation
Collaborate with product, operations, technology, and regulatory partners
Develop management information and risk reporting for senior leadership
