Job summary

TD Bank Group in New York is seeking a senior leader to oversee global governance, oversight, and reporting of audit and regulatory issues. You will partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, Technology, and regional leadership to drive timely remediation and credible reporting.

The role requires 15+ years in financial services, with deep experience in governance and first-line risk controls, reporting to senior executives and regulators. Extensive travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree in Business, Finance, Law, Risk Management, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline preferred.
• 15+ years of progressively senior experience in financial services, preferably within a global investment bank, capital markets or large regulated financial institution.
• Strong experience in audit, regulatory remediation, issue management, governance, or first-line risk roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global framework, governance, oversight, and reporting of audit, regulatory, and control-related issues across TD.
• Partner with business heads, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, Technology, Operations, and regulators to strengthen remediation.
• Establish and maintain global standards for issue identification, ownership, remediation planning, milestones, and closure.
• Provide senior-level oversight and credible challenge over high-risk, regulator-sensitive, and Board-visible issues.
• Develop executive-ready reporting and insights for senior management and regulators.
