Job summary

The Finish Line, Inc. is seeking a GSOC Operator to serve as a centralized hub for monitoring surveillance across North America stores. In a 24/7 high-volume environment, you will leverage video systems, environmental telemetry, and real-time communications to safeguard people, assets, and inventory.

You will coordinate with emergency services, perform audits, manage access controls, and support crisis response while upholding data privacy policies and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience operating within a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), central monitoring station, retail asset protection environment, or emergency dispatch center is ideal, but not required.
• Hands‑on proficiency with Video Management Systems (VMS), physical access control software, alarm monitoring dashboards, GPS asset tracking platforms, and ticketing systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of video surveillance ethics, data privacy compliance, evidence handling standards, and retail security protocols.
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities, with demonstrated composure when broadcasting live talk‑down advisories or relaying details to emergency responders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor video cameras, environmental sensors, and alarm systems to maintain 24/7 situational awareness.
• Verify alarms remotely and coordinate rapid responses to incidents.
• Coordinate breakfix tickets with field technicians and vendors.
• Review and approve CCTV access requests in compliance with privacy guidelines.
• Conduct routine audits of alarms, cameras, and access logs.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during emergencies.
• Manage access control cards and GPS trackers for stock items.
• Provide remote oversight for out-of-hours store deliveries and monitor lone drivers.
• Action CCTV retrieval and field team body camera requests for staff safety.
