Job summary

AECOM seeks a high-impact leader for Vice President, Global Growth Director – Defense Prime/OEM Facilities & Vertical Construction to define and execute the US strategy for Defense Primes and OEM clients. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on account execution to drive growth across vertical construction and facilities delivery.

Reporting to the Global Design Practice SVP, Head of Strategy & Growth, you will manage cross‑regional delivery, capture, and major client relationships,

Qualifications

• Background in architecture, engineering or related A/E discipline with direct delivery experience on vertical construction projects for Defense Primes / OEM clients.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Proven experience with Defense Primes / OEM clients and US DOW agencies on facilities and vertical construction programs.
• Industrial background & experience in advanced manufacturing.
• Direct project experience on Weapon System Bed downs, SCIF/SAPF or other ICD 705‑compliant facilities, training facilities, hangars, MRO facilities, final assembly buildings, or program office space delivered for Defense Primes / OEM clients.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the US strategy for engagement with Defense Primes / OEM clients in vertical construction and facilities delivery.
• Lead accounts, pipeline development, capture, and delivery performance across regions.
• Collaborate with global defense leaders and US DOW teams to ensure consistent execution and growth.
• Drive cross‑functional, multi‑region delivery and high‑impact client partnerships.
