Job summary

Alibaba Cloud in Sunnyvale, CA seeks an AI Solutions Lead to drive global client acquisition and MaaS opportunities. You will own across lead generation, solution design, negotiation, and deal closure for AI-focused customers.

Role requires 2+ years in AI/cloud sales or pre-sales, familiarity with LLMs and MaaS business models, and ability to articulate value to C-level executives globally. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in sales, pre-sales, technical or product ops in AI/cloud/software
• Experience at AI-native companies or large cloud providers is a plus
• Active use of LLMs and multimodal models; familiar with prompt engineering and market trends
• Understanding MaaS business models and GenAI market dynamics
• Proven ability to guide clients from POC to production with solution architects
• Cloud experience with servers, GPUs, MaaS, RAG, and agents

Responsibilities

• Scale outreach to global AI clients and build a high-conversion pipeline
• Own lifecycle of AI MaaS opportunities, from lead gen to deal closure
• Track GenAI trends and translate insights into tailored solutions
• Build trusted relationships with C-level and technical decision-makers
• Co-create AI use cases and communicate value of Alibaba Cloud models
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to craft value propositions and run workshops/demos/campaigns
