Job summary

Alibaba Cloud in Sunnyvale is seeking a results-driven, customer-facing technical sales professional to build relationships with AI-native startups across the U.S. You will understand architectures and business models, and position Tongyi Qianwen and PAI as the preferred AI stack for cost, performance, and innovation.

You’ll collaborate with Solutions Architects and AI specialists to design competitive, scalable solutions, help startups compare options, and represent Alibaba Cloud at conferences

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3+ years in a customer-facing technical sales, solutions engineering, or developer relations role—cloud/AI/infra preferred.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to engineers and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and own relationships with AI-native startups and founders across the U.S.
• Understand architectures and business models of AI-native firms (LLM fine-tuning, RAG pipelines, AI agents).
• Position Alibaba Cloud’s AI stack (Tongyi Qianwen, PAI, GPU instances, OSS, serverless inference) as top choice.
• Drive adoption from proof-of-concept to production, focusing on AI-specific usage.
